Solve the Puzzle of Chronic Pain

Physical therapist Mary Peterson is offering free 20-minute phone consultations for people dealing with chronic pain. She works with patients to meet their goals of healthy, pain-free living by helping them learn to listen to the messages of their body. Then, by developing strategies that can be used in daily life to increase the underlying energy level, conditions like low back pain and sciatica, neck pain, headaches and migraines, chronic pelvic pain, anxiety and depression, and more can be improved over time.

In the clinic by listening through hands-on therapy, relevant areas of tension can be identified and treated. Restricted areas of soft tissue may be distant to the site of pain. Gentle whole body approaches like visceral manipulation, cranial therapy and myofascial release along with other techniques are used to assist the body in returning to healthier functioning, pain free. It takes effort and determination, but incremental steps in following the body's clues produce results.
