Novakova Joins Center for Natural Healing Staff

Dr. Katka Novakova, M.D. (Europe), ND, a graduate of Prague University and the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, in Tempe, has begun practicing with Dr. Theresa Ramsey, NMD, at the Center for Natural Healing, in Paradise Valley.

Ozone therapy, one of Novakova’s passions, carries deep healing opportunities in acute, chronic and preventive circumstances. She states, “Ozone is able to kill bacteria, viruses, fungi and neutralize other toxins. The history of ozone use in medicine goes back to the early 1900s, when Dr. Joachim Hansler invented the first reliable ozone machine. The first use of ozone intravenously was done in the 1940s and 1950s, and its development is credited to Dr. Hans Wolff.”

Novakova also uses hydrogen peroxide IV therapy, which specifically treats bacterial, viral, parasitic and fungal infections, as well as more comprehensive nutritional IV therapies. She also practices Esogetic Colorpuncture, or light therapy, which uses crystal rods and different frequencies of light to help connect physical healing with healing on the mental and emotional level. This is very similar to traditional acupuncture, with an added impact on emotional or physical outcomes.
