ANAHATA Sound Healing Assists Cancer Patients
Aug 05, 2014 09:08AM
ANAHATA Sound and Energy Healing has agreed to offer free yoga, sound and energy classes to all cancer patients of the Mayo Clinic and the American Cancer Society and their children at the studio. ANAHATA is also teaching free yoga and sound healing classes at the Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center on a monthly basis.
Owner Ronee Kipnes (Amarjot Kaur) says, “It is very important to me to find meaningful ways to serve the community. Since our primary focus is healing the body, mind and spirit, I reached out to local organizations that held meaning to me personally. Having had experiences with friends and family members undergoing cancer treatment and engaged in recovery programs, these were the first partnerships that I wanted to connect with.”
ANAHATA is a space of love and healing where members of all ages come to restore and rejuvenate the body, mind and soul with classes and workshops that integrate sound healing practices with yoga and meditation that is appropriate for anyone, regardless of age, size or ability to join in.
