Take a Tour of Architectural History

The 2017 Willo Home Tour in Phoenix’s largest historic neighborhood will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. February 12, featuring beautifully restored Tudors, Spanish revival, mid-century, bungalows, mini ranch and craftsman homes. Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. at North 3rd Avenue and Monte Vista Road.

A street fair is put on at Walton Park, in the heart of the Willo Historic District, with local vendors, a live band, food trucks and an antique car show, winding down Monte Vista and Holly Roads. “Ollie the Trolly” carries visitors through the area or they may choose to walk.

Willo is bordered north to south by Thomas and McDowell Roads, and east to west by 1st and 7th Avenues. Each year, approximately a dozen architecturally significant homes and historic firehouse are open to the public for an inside look.

Tickets are sold at the event or in advance at WilloHistoricDistrict.com.
