World T'ai Chi Day Celebration 2020
A FREE Event at the Franciscan Renewal Center
On Saturday, April 25, 2020 the Franciscan Renewal Center at 5802 East Lincoln Drive in Scottsdale, Arizona (85253) will host a World Tai Chi Day celebration in the Renewal Center’s Palm Court, beginning at 9:30am and ending before Noon. The event is FREE and all are welcome.
Instructors from around the Valley will lead students and visiting participants in various forms of T’ai Chi and Qigong. Families or individuals interested in attending should bring water and sun protection. This year, Jake and Kathy Zinn of Phoenix will act as host, hostess, and emcees for this event.
World T’ai Chi and Qigong Day is an annual celebration that is now in its 21st year. Beginning at 10am in American Samoa as in past years, the celebration will spread from time zone to time zone around the globe through 80 countries and across 6 continents. The purpose of this celebration is to appeal for world peace and to share and promote the health benefits of T’ai Chi and Qigong practice.
