Evaluating Bioidentical Hormone Performance

The American Association of Cancer Research (AARC), looking at postmenopausal women receiving HRT hormone replacement therapy (HRT), found that both past and current estrogen and progesterone users and current long-term estrogen therapy users were at increased breast cancer risk.

While we have been taught and conditioned to believe that HRT is safe and often the only therapy available, the truth is that peri- and post-menopausal symptoms do not have to be treated exclusively by HRT. The female body is created to naturally transition from ovarian production of female hormones to adrenal gland production in a sufficient amount so that symptoms are not experienced.

Due to stressful lifestyles and toxins in our environment, this transition does not happen gracefully and instead produces the often-debilitating symptoms. These symptoms can be successfully treated by naturally supporting, regulating and reconnecting the body's own endocrine system; especially the adrenals, pituitary and hypothalamus glands, as well as optimizing metabolism and the detoxification pathway functions.
