Inaugural Arizona Conference for Women

Notable local authors, speakers, teachers and wellness professionals will join forces for a full-day conference filled with laughter, inspiration, networking and self-improvement for women of all ages, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., September 8, at the Windmill Suites, in Chandler. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m.

Five presenters from different backgrounds will present an educational, life-enhancing day. KC Miller, the founder of the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts, will teach women how to create a plan for turning dreams into success. Janet Lee, owner of A Healthy Journey, will speak on how to enjoy life more by making vibrant food and joyful exercise choices. Syd Hoffman, a health and wellness educator, will talk about happiness and gratitude. Sheila Whittington, a coach and teacher, will illustrate how to make life and work feel playful and easy. Dr. Denise Grobe, a naturopathic physician at Center for True Harmony Wellness and Medicine, will give advice on diet, lifestyle and supplement recommendations for each stage of life.
