Local Filmmaker Debuts Inspiring Documentary in Scottsdale

An inspiring new documentary film, Sacred Journey of the Heart, explores the healing power of the heart and proposes that we are in the midst of creating the biggest shift of consciousness of all time: heart-based living. Scottsdale filmmaker Ronna Prince, co-producer Dr. Donald Backstrom and director Skip Thomas will be present at the film’s premiere, October 19, at Harkins Camelview Theatre, in Scottsdale.

A stellar list of film contributors, including New York Times bestselling author Gregg Braden, Sunny Dawn Johnston, meditation teacher Sarah McLean, Heartmath’s Dr. Deb Rozman, Uqualla, Larry Running Turtle Salazar, Cynthia James and others will also be on hand to discuss the film.

Sacred Journey of the Heart provides a wealth of tools, information and most of all, inspiration, to travel deeper into the journey of heart connection to ourselves and the interconnected world around us. The film also features Lakota tribal leader David Swallow Jr., Dr. Joe Dispenza, Dr. Rollin McCraty and Colin Tipping.

The film is slated for a one-week run at Harkins. A VIP fundraiser/benefit will precede the showing to benefit the Global Wholeness Foundation.
