Holistic Training for Nurses

A two-weekend Holistic Nursing Certification Preparation seminar will be held November 15 to 17 and 22 to 24, at the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture, in Phoenix. Hosted by their Center for Professional Education and Development, the course is open to registered nurses interested in pursuing their passion for holistic nursing. Participants will learn the requirements for taking the holistic nurse certification examination.

Speakers from a variety of holistic backgrounds, including Glenda Christiaens, immediate past president of the Holistic Nurses Association, will speak on multiple holistic modalities. Nurses can build skills for creating a healing presence, conducting holistic assessments, using self-care strategies and many other topics.
