B-Well Center Offers New Workshops

A new, two-part workshop, Karma Awareness for Personal Growth, is being offered by the B~Well Center of Scottsdale on January 11 and 25, facilitated by John Seibert. Participants will learn about the Buddhist wheel of karma and how it relates to them personally, possibly explaining why bad things happen to good people.
Weekly group meditation classes are held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. every Wednesday, beginning January 8. Topics include the basics of meditation: posture and breathing, guided meditations, chanting, silent sitting and mindfulness. Studies have shown that meditation can reduce blood pressure, aid in weight loss, reduce cravings and addictions, improve memory, reduce insomnia, balance blood sugar, decrease chronic pain, increase clarity and creativity, and increase a sense of peace and joy.
