Optometrist Dr. Jeffrey J. Eger has practiced optometry since 1975 in Tempe and Mesa, where he is recognized as an authority on new developments in contact lenses, orthokeratology (non-surgical nearsightedness prevention) and vision therapy with both adults and children. He has lectured to the National Eye Research Foundation in 1991 and 1994 on orthokeratology and keratoconus contact lens fitting and rehabilitation of diseased and distorted corneas.
Eger states, “Our special attention has always been on the difficult-to-fit patient that has been told their vision can never improve and they cannot wear contact lenses. Life information starts through the eyes, and these can be trained and enhanced for improved sports and scholastic efficiency.”
As a certified hypnotherapist and member of the American Board of Hypnotherapy, Eger offers family eye exams, sports vision enhancement therapy, myopia reduction with biofeedback and orthokeratology, vision improvement for peak performance, contact lenses and thousands of frames.
