Learn to Practice Mindfulness in Two Months

A Mindfulness Life Center is offering an eight-week series of classes, Introduction to Mindfulness, starting in January 2016. No experience is necessary. Students should wear comfortable clothing and bring a journal or notebook.
As a way of reducing the effects of stress and maximizing joy, instructor Jennifer Martin says, “We will be working with our own capacity to come back to balance and ease by tapping into deep inner resources. Learn how to develop and maintain a personal practice and apply it to your daily, moment-by-moment life.”
Upcoming day and evening options include Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., beginning January 5 through February 23; and Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., beginning January 7 through February 25.
Martin is a certified life coach, specializing in women’s health and wellness. She is a graduate of Jon Kabat-Zinn’s Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program and has been passionate about mindfulness for more than 10 years.
